March 2006

Nicco found out how comfy it feels to put his head down on fluffy pillows or maybe his stuffed globe.

More of the happy boy.
He is sitting on his own.
He has a toy he wants.
What could be better?

I went to eBay and got him a Creative Coaster from Fisher Price. It doesn’t have the blocks but he loves riding on it. He can’t push himself yet so you have to hold him up on it when you push him.

I’m still looking for a Fisher Price Tyke Bike or a Radio Flyer version of the same. That way there is a smaller distance to the floor from the seat.

When he wakes up in the morning, he’s always standing up, holding onto the crib rail, waiting for someone to pick him up. He doesn’t mind being put in there either. It gives him a chance to strengthen his leg and supporter muscules.

Not only can he climb to stand in the crib. He gets between 2 dining room chairs and stands up that way. He also can grab the table and pull his feet off the floor. Best be behind him when he does that because his hands don’t hold too long.
He’s starting his 38th week today. And he already does chin-ups.

One warmer day found Nicco outside on the swing with Grampa. Now it’s colder again and he’s inside again.
Won’t be long and he’ll be running in the yard. I got him some Tonka trucks from eBay that I used to have in the 60s. He’ll enjoy them for sure. If I allow him to play with them, that is.

He can climb up and stand in his crib. Then he shakes the sides. Won’t be long he’ll be walking.
I added a new movie of him crawling on the right. He goes fast. So look out.

He’s starting the 37th week today. He crawls very well now. He can go almost a whole room before he rests on his stomach. So look out.

He also can pull himself in his crib and stand there holding the rail. Next he’ll be shaking it until someone comes in.

Here he is under a pile of warm laundry. He likes that. Maybe he knows the socks aren’t smelly anymore.

He not only shares his toys with anyone, but now he shares his food as well. He will hand you a Cheerio to share instead of eating them all himself. What a good boy.

He likes getting out on his own now. Put him down and let him go.
He likes to play with his dragon that plays music when you drop eggs into different holes in the dragon. And he’s still happy.

Now that he can crawl, Nicco is exploring everything. He’s so happy, he feels like a big boy!

He has 2 teeth coming thru as well. And he’s not too upset about that. He just chews more and drools more; but that’s it. What a good boy!

There’s a new movie of him on his 1st sleigh ride on our last snow (hopefully.)
