November 2006

He likes the mozzarella string cheeze.  He gives it one thumb up. He likes the camouflage suit that my friend Scott got him.

He doesn’t mind wearing a hat and jacket yet. He sure looks good in them as well. Anything to go out and play.

I wouldn’t recommend the place we went to. He walked around and looked at all the things to do. He ended up sitting and playing in a sandbox there. There was a hay ride and a corn maze. The petting zoo thing was a joke. There were no animals. You could buy a handfull of corn that you could then put in a cup on a conveyor that dropped the corn on a ledge where animals might eat it. Nice. What a waste. There is a better one at Roma’s we will try next year.

If there’s a mess on the floor, it may be hard to walk on it. However, to the untrained adult eye, it only appears to be a mess. But to the young expert, it is a field to be walked upon. Ooops. Fell down.

This is from last month, but was in my list of unused pictures. Notice the grabby-hand going after Laura’s sand shovel.

The sandbox and toys are put away now. They will have to wait til the snow to play outside again.

Nicco sees anyone with his toys and he goes over to claim them. This time it ended up with them falling over in a heap. I’m glad I spent the time on eBay to get that cart.

He likes to dance with Nana to Jerry Vale or any Italian favorite. I just put up 2 new movies. I had to add a mirror for the movies because Metlife (where I work) has blocked Google video. So the mirror is from Grouper which is open on the Met servers for the time being.

One movie is Nicco in the leaves and the other is him dancing with Poppy and Nana.

He got an abacus from Melody at work. He likes it. He can now count to over a million. He usually loses interest before that, though.

He tries to say, “SNAP!” as in the venacular of popular culture. Or like in the “Pimp your ride” VolksWagon commercials. Nice!

All he gets out is “NAP!” That can be miscontrued….

Sometimes when he finds something worth watching on Noggin, he zombies out watching it.

He knows what money is now. He can say “Money.” He smells it for some reason. If you tell him to put it in his pocket, he does. What a smart boy.

It doesn’t take much to get the boy going. He loves music. He loves to dance. What a happy boy.

He knows the cats by name. You give him a cat bowl and tell him to take it to a certain cat and he does. You tell him to get his socks and he does. He throws water in the tub now, though. And Mommy gets very wet. We have to get Mommy a raincoat or a smock or something.
