January 2007

Here he is sitting with his cousins. What fun!

He can count to 10 now. You push Cheerios at him and he makes the sound of the numbers.  Sounds pretty good. He knows what a triangle is and can say that, too. And when he’s standing at the gate at the stairs, he can say, “Abre.” Which is spanish for “Open!” As per Duh duh duh duh Dora.

A comfy chair at last! He doesn’t care that neither he nor his parents have seen the movie “Cars“. It’s all good.

After he decided he didn’t like the large beanbag chair, we went over to Uncle Joe’s and found out he likes this little chair. So then we got him one. He really likes it.

We haven’t had the time to go try and find a blow up pool in the Winter season.  Looks like he enjoys it though…

Once he found out how fun the ball pit was he decided to spend the rest of the day in it. But we were supposed to go to Uncle Joe’s for dinner. He was not happy when we pulled him out.

This is Christmas morning. As you can see, I have a back log of pictures. You can see his python lying on his beanbag chair. It turned out to be too large (the beanbag chair) so we got him a smaller chair. He loves the new chair.

Here’s the ball pit and the plastic kitchen set. He loves them both. Unfortunately the ball pit got punctured from one of our 6 cats. We tried patching it but it still deflated. Time for a new blow-up pit….

He found a large spoon to play with. Then he decided to see if he could eat with it. He didn’t do too bad.

Uncle Vinny and Aunt Eleanor came up to visit. Nicco had a good time. Here he is with Uncle Vinny.

He can say Ap, ap, ap-ple now.  And when you leave the gate open on the bottom of the stairs, he doesn’t go up. Instead he yells, “Gate! Gate! Gate!” What a good boy.

Looks like they’re both watching tv like a couple of retire-ees in a home. Laura likes to tell stories and use her arms to embellish. Nicco is not amused.
