Don’t close the bathroom door behind you with these two on the other side. They bang on the door until you open it again. And if you have a concentrating problem, you will never go unless they leave you alone. I do believe it was Aunt Laura on the other side of the door when this happened. Sad day.

I think Laura was trying to help Nicco put his coat on so they could go out. Or to help take it off so they could play inside. Whatever it is, it’s not being done quick enough.

Uncle Joe sure does enjoy his visits with Nicco. He told us we can leave and leave Nicco there with him. He told us he only comes to see the boy now :-p
He can say, “school bus” now. It sounds like “Cuba” only you have to use the Spanish pronunciation which would be “koo-bah”. I guess yesterday the bus driver that let Nicco on his mass transit, county bus let Nicco and Laura on and then took them for a ride around the block. They were in heaven. They didn’t get a transfer ticket, however.

Plastic bread slices and plastic corn makes for a good meal. He just tried corn on the cob yesterday. He liked it. Unfortunately, he got corn stuck un between his front teeth and he wouldn’t eat until we cleared it out. He was pushing on it with his tongue. Then he went back to the corn.
He got a music set with a harmonica, a wooden flute/recorder, and a short tamberine with a handle. He can play them all already. Not songs yet, but he can get the harmonica to “who-he who-he who-he who-he who-he who-he” which is very entertaining. The day after he got them, Nana asked him to get his harmonica and play it for her. So he went and got it and played it for her and played it. So he knows what a harmonica is now.

If you don’t put the table out, he’ll just sit on the floor. Then if “Little Bear” is on, he’s glued to the set.
His latest thing is to run back and forth in the house. Especially after watching the Laurie Berkner Band do “I’m Gonna Catch You.” He is now sreaming as he runs. And if he gets Laura doing it as well, there is alot of high frequency noise going on.

He calls next door from Nanna and Grampa to come over. He has a good understanding of the phone system, I think. He used to just like to pull on the cord while you were talking. He still likes to do that but he wants to talk now. And he won’t fall for the fake, broken phone bit either. He knows it’s not live.

Looks like he is looking for change. What a good boy! Actually, he probably lost a cookie under there. He may be hiding change under there for later if he found any. He doesn’t put change in his mouth. He keeps it. Then he piles it somewhere to look at. What a Scrooge.

He found out he can squeeze between the couch and chair to use the end table. He has his own little fort. I got him a nice tent set off eBay for $9.99. It has a tunnel and a tent on one side and a teepee on the other. They are built of the same material that real tents for outside are made of. What a bargain. They should last awhile. As long as the cats don’t claw into them. Here’s a pic of it:

They are both losing their baby looks and are changing in their faces. Pretty soon they won’t look the same as their baby pics.
Nicco likes to hold Laura’s hand and drag her around. Hopefully she can keep up.

The hat fits his not so wee head. A fine fit it is. He must be a vacationer. He has a camera.
