July 2007

In fact, he likes to use it and play with it. Oh happy day.

Here he is with his new haircut and a lollypop from the salon. He didn’t mind the cut too much. He could watch what she was doing in the mirror. We couldn’t cut his hair at the house because he kept wanting to see what was being done.

He has more tools now. He has to or he’ll grab the heavy ones and break something. Or himself. The toobox has Home Depot on the side. That’s probably it in the background. It is orange.

Not too many pics of him not smiling. He’s got all his teeth before his 2-yr molars. Don’t let him bite.

Grampa was tightening up the bolts on the trellis before the morning glories started up this year. Nicco took some tools and decided he could do some fixing. A screwdriver and a ratchet.

Apparently he needed more tools.

Nicco wanted to try the the very large slide for bigger kids. Because it was a tube, we let him try. He couldn’t get enough. I have a video of it that has no sound. I’ll have to put it up. He wanted to go on the slide over and over. It was all fun and games until when I lifted him up and decked his head on an iron bar. That couldn’t have felt good.

2 years old today. Hard to believe. Here’s his birthday picture from last year.

And here’s Nicco at one day old.

Happy Birthday big boy.

He’s a wee bit larger than last year. Trying the tunnel and slides is easier. He enjoyed himself thoroughly.

He says, “Cheese” when he sees you taking a picture. He’ll even do a pose. Then he puts on that half smile.

He’s getting alot taller. I can remember when he could pull himself up on his dresser and barely touch the 2nd and 3rd drawers.

He calls the fireworks, “engine works.” That because of fire engines. Apparently the word “fire” doesn’t matter.

He wants up or the camera. And you have to remember to clean the lense when you’re done.

This weekend I brought out some old Tonkas and put them in the sandbox. Now the “beach” type toys are gone instead of the “diggers.” He has a bucketloader and a backhoe. Plus I added some assorted smaller Tonka and Buddy-L trucks. He now has a manly sandbox.
