December 2007

Well, not so little. He dumped out the Pounce right in front of Spaz (aka Sadie). What a happy kitty. He was able to salvage a few pieces for the other 5 cats who did get the courage to get near the boy.

A light cover fell off the chandelier in the Dining Room. A great opportunity for the young boy. And he wasn’t wearing a shirt. Makes for a nice picture. He said it was a hat. He looks like a drunken Shriner…

He now watches Toy Story 1 and Toy Story 2 all the way thru. That’s a pretty good attention span. But this week he started watching The Polar Express. He loves trains as we all already know. He sat thru the entire thing. That’s 99 minutes according to the imdb. Toy story is 88 minutes and Toy Story 2 is 91 minutes. He can go to the theatre before long. Of course there he can’t wander around and play with toys when he gets tired of the picture….

Nicco likes his new fishing pole. It comes with a few fish to snag as well.

This is from September. I had a rosebush that got the bulb exposed. Can’t have that over the Winter; the rosebush might not make it. So digging in the dirt attracts young lads. He wasn’t too messy and he did help. He didn’t get hit with the thorns, either. Now it’s all ready for the cold.

There’s a Laurie Berkner song where they wear crazy hats. “I’m a DoodleHead,” I think. One doesn’t need any more reason than that to wear fun hats. It looks fun, anyway.

One tragedy to note. A neighbor gave us some VHS tapes from their grand kids. One was a cheesy version of Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer. Unfortunately, he likes it. I got the real one out and it was deemed “kah-kee.” And “Don’t yike it,” was the comment each time I tried to start it. Too bad. That ugly tape may catch on fire somehow. I’ve heard stories about that in the news….
